This rail bike was made by Charlie
Whipp and his son, Francis, as a
part of a school shop work project.
Charlie rode the bike from Doubs
to Adamstown. He worked at
various times at Lime Kiln, Point
of Rocks, Barnesville and finally
retired from Dickerson.
